For the information of all residents.

Over the last couple of weeks we have seen a dramatic increase in the number of break ins to sheds and garages in the surrounding area, four or five in NASSINGTON last week and four in FOTHERINGHAY Last night. The ones last night are believed to have happened in the early hours of the morning probably just after mid night.

Garages have also been targeted where the garage is integral to the house making access easier to the property.

They are moving through the villages targeting barns and outbuildings. White Ford transit van Sivler Renault traffic van Silver V W Golf and black BMW all linked. These vehicles are seen in villages days before.

PLEASE ENSURE that you lock up your garages and outbuildings and make it more difficult for these travelling criminals, we had a spate in the Village some years ago, please make every effort to make sure we don't have another. If you hear or see anything suspicious, dial 999 and report a CRIME IN PROGRESS which should guarantee an immediate response.
