Cotterstock Village Hall is located in the heart of the village, in the former primary school. In recent years, the building has been beautifully refurbished to provide excellent amenities for the local community. Car parking and garden are located behind the hall.​

The village hall is frequently used and available to hire for a wide range of events and activities, including:

• regular Pilates classes

• talks, presentations and meetings

• private parties, weddings and receptions

• the village fete

• quizzes

• an episode of 'Gardener's Question Time'

• films and screenings

Rent costs:

• Resident rate £7.50 per hour

• Non- resident/commercial rate £15 per hour (October to March) or £12 per hour (April to September)

Monthly Village Hall meetings are open to all village residents. The committee is responsible for the maintenance of the building and for organising community events. The monthly meetings also provide a forum for raising and discussing local issues, such as traffic and the village design statement.

​The committee has recently overseen the renovation and adoption of the phone box, which now houses a defibrillator.
